who, what and why?
My name is Cristina and I have a weakness for all things visually pleasing, specifically fashion.
Having lived in Korea for over a decade, I have seen local and global trends come and go, but regardless of their origin, I have always been fascinated by the Korean approach to fashion.
Despite the international success of K-pop, K-dramas and the likes, I feel like Korea hasn’t been covered as much in the fashion world, and I feel it is high time it was.
prêt-à-korter is a portmanteau of prêt-à-porter, or ready-to-wear, and Korea, and is meant to function as a directory of Korean designers, brands, artists and more, in hopes of bringing more exposure to the Korean aesthetic and creative genius.
