Jei Kim launched fleamadonna in 2007 based out of Seoul as a womenswear brand.

The brand name “fleamadonna” is a transformational word derived from ‘Prima-donna’, an opera’s leading female singer. It means for a woman to live as would a heroine in her life – as ‘prima-donna’ does in her play.

fleamadonna is dedicated to design clothes for a free-spirited girl who loves herself and has her own style which is kitsch and unique. fleamadonna produces two seasonal Women’s collections annually.

Since the first debut show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion week in Tokyo, the brand presents its collections in both Seoul and Paris showroom every season. The brand has steadily increased its performance in terms of the export volume and the sales in the domestic as well as the overseas markets.

We are proud to be carried in prestige shops including Opening Ceremony, I.T, Excelsior, and Isetan. 

fleamadonna is known as the first Korean designer brand who was distributed by Colette. The company’s exposure continues by providing clothing to American and European magazines such as ELLE and VOGUE. fleamadonna is worn by famous celebrities such as Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Paris Hilton, Miranda Kurr, Barbara Palvin, and K-Pop idol group Girl’s Generation.

Through the local distributors in Japan and Hong Kong, the brand deployed public relations to local press conducting regional marketing strategy.
